I know, I know. I am woefully behind in posting this. Move on, you'll be fine.
So New Year's Eve day arrived. Pete and Tim came late morning to drop off the numerous pieces of the arsenal they created. This was no joke. For real, when do these guys sleep? They made several swords from wood and even bedazzled some as shown here in the Excalibur(which I called 48 calibur) sword bestowed upon me. 48 calibur stands about 6 feet high, an impressive weapon to say the least. Especially given that I stand 5'2" high, lol.
It did not stop there. There were maces, shields, tabards and robes made as well as helmets. Take a look at Tim decked out in his garb. Note the size of his weapon. Ya just gotta love this.(Normally I dont post pics of people's faces but he is so damn happy I had to)
In addition to bringing over the arsenal, they also brought the TREBUCHET. I mean really, how freakin cool is that? And how many times do you get to say that? The trebuchet was rolled out to the field and tested for accuracy. Damn cool. For real. Here is the beauty with the rabbit in its sights.
Lastly, there was the matter of the rabbit. It needed to be covered in cardboard and burlap not to mention moved 500 feet to the burn pit. With the help of my glorious Ranger, we towed it out there.
Here is how it looked before nightfall. Notice the giant teeth. Pete and Tim were very specific about those.
